Driftwood Isles
★★★★★ 4.6
Driftwood Isles is a calm adventure game. You wash up on a string of islands and explore them one at a time, solving small environmental puzzles and uncovering the story of who lived there before.
There's no combat and no timer. The joy is in poking at things — moving a stone, reading a journal page, figuring out how a bridge mechanism works. The art is soft and the sound design does a lot of the heavy lifting.
It plays start to finish offline. We finished it in about four evenings and quietly wished for more.
